God is a Republican!
Friday, February 12th, 2010Is it just me or has the federal government getting out of hand. When the American people say ’slow down’ or ’stop’ and they thumb their noses at us, something is drastically wrong. We are the ones that put them into office and they don’t seem to realize that w are the ones to take them out of office.
We haven’t been asking for much, just to slow down and READ. Haste makes waste and look how bad our economy has become since there has been one party control. Look at the many ways they have tried to push things through, even over Christmas. Look at all the special interest deals that were made! Even the super bowl was spammed by the white house with an O’Bama live interview. That failed though because if the game wasn’t on who the heck was watching with all the food and drink to be had.
But even with all of that they were still trying to puch things through BUT .. (more…)
Our School Tax Dollars – Where They Go!
Sunday, June 28th, 2009I don’t know where they all go in fact I would bet that our school board doesn’t know either. I see that Howe school looks like they are getting a new roof and it must have been really bad for they had to cover all the rooms in plastic.. BUT.. maybe the roof is full of holes, somewhat like the school district spending. My main question is. Why, when no one is working on the roof, the room lights in EVERY room are left on. 24 hours a day and for sure this last weekend, all lights were left on! I don’t know how many rooms there are at Howe but if it only amounts to $2.50 per room per day and there are only 30 rooms.. hell that is $150 for the weekend, more if they were air condiditoning those vacant rooms.
These are questions our school board should be answering and I have listed their emails in case you are seeking the same answers.

Do they know what a budget is!
Saturday, June 20th, 2009I was walking the old dog yesterday morning about 4:30am and was over by howe school. With all of us tightening our budgets can someone explain?
- Why 2 classrooms lights were on with no one there?
- Why was the ac running?
- Why do they need 4 large ac units anyway?
